Warranty Terms & Conditions
  1. Dragon Electronics Ltd., hereinafter referred to as "DEL". The Warranty services shall be rendered during DEL normal working hours from Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:30PM excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
  2. DEL warrants the product against damage, fault or failure due to manufacturing defects under normal household use for the period set out below from the date of purchase or delivery whichever is later.
  3. DEL shall have the option either to repair or to replace any defective functional part[s] with new functional part[s] under this Warranty and all replaced functional part[s] will become the property of DEL.
  4. Consumables, non-functional parts, accessories and wear & tear items such as air filter, battery, bulb of any type, carbon filter, data cable, ear phone, HDMI cable, microSD card or any other type of memory cards, microwave oven plate, pick-up lens, power adapter or charger, remote control and water filter for refrigerator, which are included in the original factory packing for the product that fail due to a manufacturing defect will be replaced free of charge for a period of six [6] months from the date of purchase or delivery whichever is later.
  5. For notebook computers and mobile phones, repairs carried out may involve the reformatting of the hard disk drive, solid state drive and|or memory card and consequently the loss of data stored on these devices. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to perform regular data backup before any repair is carried out and DEL disclaims all liabilities for data loss. In case service is required for notebook computers and mobile phones, please bring all your accessories such as power adapter or charger. DEL Warranty does not cover accessories and|or peripherals and|or software purchased|downloaded separately and|or any functional and|or operational problems arising from any network systems and|or service providers.
  6. This Warranty does not cover:
    1. Minor imperfections in products that meet design specifications or imperfections that do not materially alter functionality such as, but not limited to, exterior body or casing appearance;
    2. Product demonstration, installation and set-up;
    3. Cosmetic damages such as chemical reaction, corrosion, corrosive surroundings, paint work, rust and tea stains. Products in stainless steel must be cleaned regularly to avoid tea stains;
    4. Damage, fault or failure due to improper installation and under cooling or heating capacity conditions for Air Conditioners;
    5. Dead pixel of less than 7 dots as it is within factory specifications and is not considered a defect. This applies to Digital Signage, Hotel TV, Monitor and TV.
  7. DEL Warranty does not apply if the Original Identification Marks on the product have been removed or altered and does not apply to damage, fault or failure due to: accidents, breakage such as broken glass, burglary, chemical reaction, commercial or industrial use, corrosion, corrosive surroundings, excessive dust, excessive heat, fire, flood, foreign matter entering the product, humidity, improper electrical grounding, improper installation, improper maintenance, improper movement of the product, improper plug connection, improper transportation, improper ventilation, inappropriate storage conditions, insects, lightning, low water pressure, mishandling, misuse, negligence, oxidization caused by any form of liquid, power surge including abnormal voltage, software, reptiles, riots, rodents, storm, tampering, unauthorized repair, unusual electrical stress, unusual physical stress, use of non-genuine battery & accessories and virus[es].
  8. DEL entire liability shall be limited to warranty repair during the warranty period. DEL shall not be liable for any type of consequential damages or loss of whatsoever nature directly or indirectly arising from purchaser's use of, or inability to use the product, or for personal injury or loss or destruction of other property, loss of time and loss of use. Further, DEL liability in respect of all claims under this Warranty shall not exceed the current product market price.
  9. Disclaimer:
    1. Military Standard Shock Resistant [MIL STD-810G]: Device can sustain up to 26 drops from a height of 48 inches.
    2. IP68 Water & Dust Resistant: Protected from dust ingress and water immersion up to a depth of 1.5 metres up to 30 minutes.
  10. The Warranty shall be governed under the Laws of the Republic of Mauritius and does not affect your statutory rights as consumer in any way.

• By accessing Dragon Electronics website or placing an order you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “T&Cs”) and the documents referred to within them.

• Dragon Electronics reserves the right to update these T&Cs at any time, without prior notice. If you do not agree to be bound by these T&Cs you may not use or access the Site.

  4. Prior to any online purchase, you have to register online in order to initiate any order transaction. (Please refer to the Registration Policy)

  6. 3-1. Customers are free to browse the Website, however it is mandatory for a customer to register if you purchase from online.

    3-2. You are required to keep your personal details in a safe place and will not be shared with anyone.

    3-3. You are also requested to keep your credentials accurate and updated.

    3-4. You are fully responsible for all activities and orders placed under your registered account.

    3-5. By registering with us, you confirm that:

    3-6. DEL shall use all reasonable endeavours to protect the Customer’s information submitted on the website in line with the Data Protection Act prevailing in Mauritius.

    3-7. Customers will need to provide the following details to process their registration:

    • Surname
    • Date of Birth
    • Gender
    • Contact Number (Home or Mobile)
    • Residential Address
    • A valid e-mail address. (This e-mail address will be used for identification purposes, for sending newsletter and invoice or acknowledgement.)

    3-8. Should you want to deregister with us, the customer should email to [email protected]. The process of deregister will be undertaken by latest the next business day and a confirmation email will then be sent to the Customer.

    3-9. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or that a third party has hacked into or otherwise tampered with your registered account, please contact our Service Centre immediately or via email without any delay, failing which we will not be liable for any loss, damage and/or prejudice suffered as a result of such hacking, tampering or otherwise.

    3-10. DEL will not in any case be held responsible for any losses suffered by the customer due to the unauthorized use of his account. The Customer further agrees to hold DEL harmless from any losses resulting from his non-compliance to clause 11.

    3-11. DEL reserves the right to suspend or cancel your account with us at any time if you are suspected of having misused, breached the security of this website or use of inappropriate language.

  7. Prices
  8. 4-1. Our products are sold at the price advertised on the website at the time of your order.

    4-2. We reserve the right to change the prices at any time, prior to the confirmation of your order, without notice.

    4-3. All prices are listed in Mauritian Rupees and are inclusive of VAT (15%) applicable at the time of your order.

  10. You should rely on the product text features/specifications when you place your order. Photographs do not form part of the contract of sale and are for guidance only. Photos & Videos are non-binding We reserve the right to withdraw or vary our offers and promotions at any time, prior to the confirmation of your order, without notice.

  11. Online purchase (for purchase of Products/Spare parts)
  12. The Customer must be a registered Customer to be able to make online purchases and payments. Payment for Products & Spare parts shall be made in local currency (Mauritian Rupee).

  13. Home Delivery/Collection points
  14. A delivery services and collection at pick-up points are available only the mainland of the Republic of Mauritius.

    • Home Delivery or Door-to-door Delivery
    • The products will be delivered by Dragon Electronics delivery team, at the address given upon placing the payment received.

      Only one delivery address is allowed per order placed and delivery is free of charge.

      We strive to deliver within 2 working days (Monday to Friday) from the date of payment received. Except during specific periods (One Day Sale & specific promotions, whereby delivery will done as per schedule and agreeable between DEL & Customer) Delivery is made on working days only, between 09h00 and 17h00, with an agreed date/time between DEL & customer.

      We endeavour to make the products available for collection within 2 working days from the date of payment received.

      We will notify you by email when your order is ready to be collected at your chosen pick-up point. The collection time will vary according to the opening hours of the collection point you have chosen when placing your order. For more shop details, Please check here.

  15. General Terms
  16. Delivery and collection is made when the customer signs the delivery/collection slip.

    You have to show your National Identity Card (NIC) as proof of identity before delivery or collection can be made. Your NIC will be check by the Dragon Electronics Delivery Team or our Shop Representative at the chosen pick-up point.

    If a third party takes delivery of your order, he/she will also have to show his/her own NIC before delivery can be made. The Warehouse Delivery Team or Shop Representative at the pick-up point will check his/her NIC to match the name.

    We will not be liable for the late or non-delivery of the products or for any loss, damage and/or prejudice suffered as a result of any incorrect delivery or other information you have provided us or occasioned by events beyond our reasonable control.

  17. Cancellation of Order & Return Policy
  18. For the purchase of products, the Customer may cancel his order within 24 hours following the purchase by calling Dragon Electronics on 206-1888.

    Goods once sold are not exchangeable and non-refundable.

    You wish to exchange or return goods after payment, subject we accepted, an Administrative Fee of Rs 295.00 [VAT included] will be claimed. Furthermore, we will claim a Transport Fee as per our current rates [available on demand] if goods have already been delivered or are in transit for delivery.

  19. Storage Fee
  20. A Storage Fee of Rs 295.00 [VAT Included] per week per piece will be claimed in case you could not take delivery as agreed. However this Storage Fee is only applicable after 30 days as from the date of invoice.

  21. Delivery
  22. You are required to check the condition and conformity of the products delivered at the time of delivery/collection, i.e. before you sign the delivery/collection slip.

    If the customer notes that the delivery box is not sealed or is damaged or the products are not as ordered upon delivery or collection, the customer should not take delivery and inform the warehouse delivery team or Shop Representative at collection point for replacement.

    Once delivery has been made, we will not be liable for any breakages, nonconformity or shortages of the products ordered.

  26. We endeavour to provide you with the best service possible.

    However, we cannot guarantee that the service will be free from technical problems at the level of the website. If you come across any technical problem, please contact our Web Team by E-mail or livechat and we will remedy to the situation as soon as we reasonably can.

    There may be restricted access to the website during periods of repairs and/or maintenance. An alert message will be displayed informing about same

  27. Applicable law
  28. The relevant laws of Mauritius will apply to these T&Cs and the Courts of Mauritius will have exclusive jurisdiction. If any of these T&Cs is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, it will not affect the remaining T&Cs. These will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by Mauritian law.

  29. Disputes
  30. In the event that any claim, matter or dispute arises between customer and DEL arising out of or in connection with your use of the Portal, same must be referred to the Service Centre by contacting our Customer support department on 206-1888 or by E-mail. Both parties shall first strive to amicably resolve all matter or disputes arising from the interpretation or performance of these T&Cs, failure of which, the matter or dispute will be resolved in accordance with the Mauritian Code of Civil Procedure.

    Notwithstanding the clause A, DEL reserves the right to deal with any legal claims arising from the matter in a forum of its choice, which will include but will not be limited to, the Courts of the Republic of Mauritius. This right will continue to apply after termination, cancellation or amendment of these T&Cs. You agree that DEL is entitled, but is not obliged, to institute any proceedings arising out of or in connection with these T&Cs or your use of the website or its material, in any Court in the Republic of Mauritius having jurisdiction over you, even though the cause of action in question may exceed the jurisdiction of that Court.
